The miles may bend and warp
Between us.
But, just now we spoke
Without words, without sound
Our souls calling out,
Resonating.
You may traverse continents,
Adventure beyond the reaches
of our technology,
Hide your face in a audience of
actors all alike,
Throw your form far beyond the planets
in our sweet solar system.
We can be apart in every way but this:
Hearts fly.
In quantum beats,
In quasar pulses,
In steady percussion.
Having no concept of miles or meters.
Hearts meet,
And we are together
Once more.
